Big Hearts Walk for St. Mary's Kids
Nathaniel Jakob Shpits AKA Spongebob
Thanks for visiting our team Nathaniel Jakob Shpits page for the Walk for St. Mary's Kids. Our son Nathaniel, at the age of 4 months went into cardiac arrest and wasn't revived him until 45 minutes later. This episode led to complete irreversible brain damage. Nathaniel since then has resided at St. Marys and was cared for by his grandparents every day, who made sure he bathed daily, visited the chapel, attended all therapy, and watched Spongebob. Until his last day he was always provided compassion, love and care by St. Mary's. Nathaniel was among the many children that enter to this institution for various reasons, and are all provided exceptional professional care. His humble and pure contenance which resonates in all the children of St. Mary's, can only continue to touch each and every one of our hearts to live always at the very basic foundation of humanity of peace, love, and humility. Our goal is to raise funds and awareness to support children with special needs right here in New York. Every day, 2,000 children with complex medical needs throughout the metro NY area rely on St. Mary's for highly specialized care, intensive rehabilitation and education services. Our team is walking to help give St. Mary's Kids a brighter future. Won't you join us? Make a donation or join our team today and help make a difference for some of New York's most remarkable children. Thanks for your support!
